At Birch Bend MotoLodge you will experience what the mountains really have to offer: peace and quiet, beautiful views, woods, grassy vistas and wildlife.The rooms are cozy but spacious. Nice, comfy linens and knotty pine on the walls really make you feel at home. Our lodge is quaint with areas to sit and read or use the free Wi-Fi, listen to music and play games. There is a picnic area with a fire pit and horseshoes with plenty of room to play or just relax.

We are a short five-mile drive outside of Gorham, NH, so you're close to all the amenities you can think of in a quaint New England town. The village of Shelburne and the Androscoggin River are within walking distance. We are nearby all the area attractions like the Appalachian Trail, Mt. Washington Auto Road, Great Glen Trails, Wildcat Mountain, Jericho Mountain State Park,Evans Notch, North Conway, NH and Bethel, ME -  just to name a few! We are surrounded by the best roads for sight seeing and are rider-owned and very rider-friendly!

Birch Bend is a unique experience in lodging. We are not at all a typical motel and don't care for the typical motel things. You will enjoy more of a B&B feel where the owners are the only employees and we pay special attention to your needs and expectations.

Winter is just about over and we're getting ready for some good times this year. Whitehorse Gear's Open House event is May 18th and we'd love to get a group together for the festivities. Americade, Laconia Bike Week, Rally in the Valley and the Blessing of the Bikes are in June. The Jericho ATV Festival is in July... and this is just a few of the many things to come! Stay tuned for a full list of events coming soon. We are also looking forward to many return visits from our friends that just can't get enough of this place and to some new folks from all over the world!
