It drove us to create a unique experience in lodging where we cater to the needs of the thrill enthusiast. All of the area’s attractions are a short ride away. The adventures begin right from our front door!
We're on four beautiful acres surrounded by forests, mountains and rolling hills. Less than 1/2 mile away flows the Androscoggin River. Carving through the White Mountains, it provides access to great adventures and incredible scenery. So while staying with us, you'll be off the beaten path and be on an incedible adventure. It's the perfect location for a perfect getaway!

Winding Scenic Roads: A Bikers’ Heaven
Our area of New Hampshire has some of the most spectacular scenery; from the top of Mount Washington to the pools of the Androscoggin. There are hundreds of miles of thrilling rides on all sides of Birch Bend. Our very own Mike (aka The Bandit) has riden almost every road in the state and can help you plan a ride that suits your needs — or the weather's! Rivers to Fish, Canoe and Kayak
No matter your sport, a perfect day on the river beats all. Birch Bend MotoLodge is less than a 1/2 mile away from public access to the beautiful Androscoggin River. Locally, this spot is known to paddlers and fishermen as Shelburne Double Bridges and we're always glad to help guests portage their kayaks.
